Engineers

PDCPDC's environmental group functions in support of highways, aviation, and fuels projects by providing environmental assessment expertise for routes and site selection, developing surface water runoff treatment plans, and developing remediation plans for contaminated areas.

ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND IMPACT DOCUMENTS
PDC lead the team which undertook the development of the EIS for the Juneau Access Project. Our environmental group routinely develops environmental assessment documents for highway route alignment options. This area of practice requires organization of public involvement and information, as well as integrating civil engineering, survey, and mapping work (developed in-house), with the work of a broad array of scientists (i.e. engineering hydrologists and geologists, archeologist, and wildlife biologists).

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING IN DESIGN
PDC's environmental group assists in the design of highways and aviation projects by providing the design of surface water run-off control structures. They design systems for terrestrial encapsulation and monitoring systems for landfills.
