Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, Antarctica Strategically situated at the South Pole on a 10,000-footthick moving ice sheet, the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station is located in one of the most extreme remote cold region environments on earth. > Project Details

Stevens Village Airport Relocation This project relocated a rural community's State-owned airport to Village Corporation land. The new airport is located one mile from the community, is 4,000 feet long and 75 feet wide, and meets current FAA standards. > Project Details

Savoonga Airport Surveys Hazardous flying conditions throughout much of the year compound Savoonga's access problems. The Alaska Department of Transportation is upgrading the Savoonga Airport to make it as safe as possible. > Project Details

NOAA Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute The Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute (TSMRI) is a new administrative and research complex to be shared with the University of Alaska's future School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences Facility (also designed by PDC). > Project Details

University of Alaska Fairbanks Biological Research and Diagnostics Facility (BiRD) PDC provided full service engineering design including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical services for this 30,000 sf state-of-the-art biological research and diagnostic facility. > Project Details

University of Alaska Fairbanks Museum of the North Expansion This project expanded the University's existing museum building to twice its original size, enlarging the public gallery display, auditorium, laboratory, research, collection, and office space. > Project Details

Fort Wainwright Vehicle Maintenance Facility Fort Wainwright's new Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF) is a 105,000 SF building, consisting of a warehouse with loading dock, a core administrative area, and maintenance repair bays. > Project Details
