Engineers

PDC's Utility group has been designing utilities systems for remote, as well as urban clients for nearly a quarter century. A significant share of this experience has been gained in Arctic and sub-Arctic projects, where the more traditional design approaches, typical of project sites located within the contiguous United States, do not apply.

Our utility's group has extensive experience, not only in the design of potable water supply, treatment, and distribution; but also wastewater collection and treatment, as well as storm water collection and treatment.

PDC has designed water and waste water systems for camps, rural communities, military installations, scientific research complexes, power transmission/distribution, and communications. Example project sites include:

Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, Antarctica

Adak Naval Air Station, Alaska

The city of Fairbanks, Alaska

The city of Anchorage, Alaska

The city of North Pole, Alaska

All major military bases in Alaska
