I was born and raised in Fairbanks, and I am a graduate of UAF. I have a special love for Alaska. My wife and I take every opportunity to travel around the state for recreation and youth sports events for our two children. Living here provides endless opportunities for adventure. I started my engineering career with Lake & Boswell in June of 1998. Two years later we merged into PDC.
During my career at PDC there have been numerous other opportunities for adventure. The first time I traveled to rural Alaska for work, I found myself in the middle of a cold and windy winter day – without a structure in site; eventually I was picked up, more frozen than thawed, by dog sled and delivered to the Project site. On another adventure I traveled to Anaktuvuk Pass for a Project and was there for the summer solstice; I found myself on a beautiful summer night driving a Sea-Doo on a lake, more frozen than thawed!
Working at PDC, I feel that every day I have the opportunity to make a difference in the community and have a part in shaping PDC’s future.
