Traffic Engineer
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Job Title: Traffic Engineer
Level of Experience:
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- 6-10 years’ of experience
- PTOE certification preferred
We are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable individual to fill our Traffic Engineer position in our Anchorage, Alaska office.
Successful candidate will lead and perform traffic engineering related work on projects including traffic impact studies, operational studies, corridor analysis, intersection design, round- a-bout design, construction phasing and signing, permanent signing and pavement markings, traffic signal design, traffic counts, etc. Responsibilities also include developing and growing traffic engineering services for the office, business development, client service, and working with internal team members. Qualifications/Skills:
- P.E. license required
- 6 to 10 years’ experience with increasing responsibilities in traffic engineering
- Experience with utilization of typical traffic engineering software is required
- PTOE certification preferred
- Business Development experience desired
